DEPOSIT

• The hirer must pay a deposit of 200€ – 300€ depending on the model of the bike, which will be returned to the hirer on delivery of the bike.
• The deposit will be collected by bank transfer or in cash and will be returned on the day of return of the bike.
• In the event of early return of the bicycle, you will not be credited for the part of the contract not used.
• Payment shall always be made in full and in advance at the time of rental.

RESPONSIBILITY OF THE HIRER

• To be responsible for the care and return of the bicycle and accessories. Bicycles will be inspected at the time of delivery. They must be returned in the same condition in which they were rented, the user being responsible for any damage caused.
• In the event of damage, theft or loss of any accessory (helmet, pedals, tools, bicycle components, etc.) during the rental period, the customer shall immediately assume all replacement costs incurred according to the rate or market price.
• At the end of the rental period, a representative of Sursun Bike Holidays will determine the conditions of delivery of the rented equipment and assess any loss or damage caused.
• The bicycle will be used during the stipulated time, being from 9:00h to 19:00h, after this time the bicycle will be returned to Sursun Bike Holidays. The late return of the bicycle/s will give rise to the payment of the corresponding fee.
• The bicycle is rented solely and exclusively for leisure use, any other use is prohibited.
• Sursun Bike Holidays is not liable for claims of any kind. The customer is always obliged to take proper care of the bicycles.
• The user declares to be in perfect health, to be able to handle a bicycle and to be in control of the rented material.
• The customer is responsible for being adequately insured against risks that may arise during the rental period. Sursun Bike Holidays is not liable for claims for accidents, injuries, knocks or damage caused to themselves or their property, or for loss of objects during the rental period. Damage caused to third parties, persons or property is fully insured by the relevant liability insurance which is included with the bike rental.

STORAGE AND PARKING

• Bicycles must always be stored / parked in a secure room or must always be with the clients, it is not allowed to leave / park the bicycles on the street so it will be the client’s responsibility for the loss or theft of the bicycles. We do not offer coverage in case of theft of the rented bicycle, the responsibility for the theft is exclusively the responsibility of the client who signs the rental contract.
• In the event of theft you will be liable for the current value of the bicycle.
• If the company finds the bicycles on the street or involved in vandalism or misuse, the company reserves the right to remove them without refunding the rental fee.

SAFETY AND DRIVING

• It is the responsibility of the client to respect Spanish traffic regulations and to drive with caution and respect for pedestrians.
• Any fine or sanction derived from the use of the bicycles is the sole responsibility of the client.

NON-COMPLIANCE WITH THE RULES

• Failure to comply with any of these rental conditions may result in the retention of the deposit, additional charges or legal action as determined by the company.

BOOKINGS

Reservations will be made by email, telephone or WhatsApp. To make a reservation, you must pay 30% of the total rental cost or pay 100% if you wish.

CANCELLATIONS

For the cancellation of a reservation must be informed with more than 4 days in advance by contacting the company. In case of cancellation of a reservation with less than 4 days notice, no refund of the amount paid in advance will be made, also in the case that in a reservation for the rental of several bikes and finally need less, the remaining bikes will be billed equally and will not be paid the proportional part.
